Xperience CEO Chris Suarez interviewed Kathleen on this Friday’s Partner call. Here is a snapshot (followed by the full recording) of Kathleen sharing her journey through real estate, why she brought her team to Xperience and advice she has for other agents!
Q: How did you get into real estate?
A: A door open, I saw an opportunity and I took it! I knew nothing about it so it took a lot of hard work and research to gain knowledge of the industry.
Q: How did you score your first luxury listing?
A: My first luxury listing was actually an expired listing. I went in with a lot confidence and statistics. I was being the expert even though in reality, I wasn’t.
Q: What advice do you have for agents?
A: Connect with your clients. If you are connected with them personally, they will trust you. Also, know your information about their listing and other listings in their area. Be the expert.
Q: How do you approach an expired listing?
A: Most agencies don’t call withdrawn or expired luxury listings because they don’t have the knowledge or experience. The call you make for this sort of listing is different, you really need to know you information. Use statistics so the homeowner thinks “wow she really knows what she’s talking about!”
Q: Why did you choose to join the Xperience team?
A: I looked at several options. I wanted to take my business to the next level. Xperience was hands down the one I knew was going to actually do that for my team. The most important thing to me is to give my team a better opportunity. Not just me individually but my team as a whole. I have a lot of faith and confidence in the Xperience leadership.
